Artist's Comments

felt like doing something new so i experimented a lil. Most of this piece is minimalistic, but there some subtleties that add to the look that most people wont even fully appreciate unless i point them out.

Not only do i feel that this is one of my best works, it is also my largest. Normally i like working in 800x600, which fits my screen, but today i decided to go larger for those using 1024x768 to see it in a nice full view. I actually enjoyed working in the finer detail, though moving around on the screen is a pain and it's hard to get a fll look of the final project.

Comments and faves are appreciated

Nice shapes. It looks pretty cool. Im not so sure about the cloudy stuff on top of the shapes, think it ruins the overall flow of the lines a bit. But it still looks good

believe it or not the clouds are UNDER the render unless you mean it being over the other shapes in the bg.

Ok, it was the clouds you can see in the purple i was referring to :)

thats actually a texture. while i was making it, i also took into account the same position you did, and it was counterproductive. I took a good look at it with the texture and without it, and it actually adds something to it that would have otherwise been missing. The smooth render just didn't contrast well with the bg, if you can see what i mean

Sure, I haven't seen it without, so i'm just guessing. Nicely done anyway.

I'd like to see the render to blend in some ways to the BG.

that's what i meant by "doign somethign different." normally i do blend my renders into the bg, but on this i decided to try something new.
